In honor of AJ Devin Johnson (1995-2021) a portion of funds go to sending out care packages to those who have lost a loved one to suicide.
It's Okay to Have Emotions & Serotonin Deficiency Club Tees are now available!
What started out as an Instagram account in 2016 has grown into a clothing line & community that aims to raise awareness about mental health through conversation and connection.
Together we get to carry on the legacy of those we have lost through our words and actions of kindness, comfort, and love to those that are struggling in silence. Our goal is to create a global community where we can connect, collaborate, and share stories.
In honor of AJ Devin Johnson (1996-2021) a portion of funds go to sending out care packages to those who have lost a loved one to suicide.
When I lost one of my closest friends to suicide, I realized there weren't many resources or communities in place to support those who are grieving the loss of a loved one to mental health struggles. I wanted to change that.
That's why a portion of all sales will go to sending out care packages to those who has lost a loved on to suicide.
It's my hope that these can be a source of comfort and hope to those that are navigating incomprehensible loss and grief.
Here at Phoenix, we are all about community building. That is why we have come up with a fun way to connect YOU to other mental health baddies who are part of the Phoenix fam.
Your order will come with a unique hashtag that only you and 6 other people will receive... kind of like modern day pen pals, in groups of seven.
You will know what number you are within the group (ex. 2 of 7) and when you post on social media, you can use your unique hashtag to connect with the other 6 members of your squad.
If you're not sure what to post, we created a QR code that links to 100 non-intimidating ways to start conversations about mental health on social media.
Stigma can't thrive in community, and we're on a mission to change that, starting with YOU :)
Always remembered, never forgotten, forever in our hearts...
When my best friend AJ passed away, I created sweatshirts with his name on the side sleeve for his friends and family so we could have a physical reminder of his life and how much joy he brought to the world.
I want to be able to do the same for you with the name of your loved one. The grieving journey of losing someone to suicide can be lonely and isolating.
I hope these sweatshirts can be a source of comfort and hope during this painful time. It's okay to not be okay, and you are not alone.
All of our apparel is unisex and purposefully does not have the size on the inside of the garment. Instead, we have a tag attached to the item where we can circle the type of item along with the size you ordered. When you look at the inside label of your Phoenix wear, all we want is for you to be reminded that size is just a number and it doesn't define your worth.
